At times i really wonder wat frens meant actually...shouldn't they lend a helping hand when the other one needs it...or be a nice host in order to make the other 's person stay enjoyable...? i m just confused...probably i should just not hoping too much...

Yeah, like your post, I too am confused. I thot frens are there to help each other, to support each other. Last few weeks, I had a fren who were there for me to make me feel at home and help me get adjusted to life in her country. But when I came back here after the Chinese Lunar Year break for 1 week, things changed. I tried to talk to her but she keeps avoiding me. I managed to ask her what's wrong and she only said she has something on her mind right now. But not willing to share. We are now like strangers. Yes I am confused...
